Big Changes, Solar Eclipse in Aries, Neptune Enters Aries

On March 27, Venus retrograde conjuncts Neptune at 29º of Pisces. The Moon moving over this same part of the sky will enhance these effects immensely through March 28. Venus conjunct Neptune is very dreamy, surreal, creative and since Venus is retrograde, can have us revisiting the past with rose-colored glasses. Although possibly a very pleasurable time in the short-term, this isn’t especially concrete or reliable. Frolic and fantasy might be very available, but is encouraging us to review the past and our participation in escapism. Whenever Neptune is involved, it is very hard to see clearly. In it’s highest form, Venus meeting Neptune encourages us to have faith, to interface with the unseen realms, and inspires spiritual love in even the most mundane of experiences. In it’s lower vibrations we succumb to our addictions and are duped by ‘too-good-to-be-true’ offers. Venus is on a journey through her retrograde period to review what people, patterns, and behaviors are outdated and self-sabotaging. These few days may offer some clues albeit in hindsight.
The last few days of March are pivotal for change, in both our individual and collective lives. A time we may indeed come back and refer to for many years to come.
On March 29, we have a new Moon partial solar eclipse in Aries at 9º. Under this same sky, Mercury retrograde reenters Pisces, meeting Neptune for a conjunction at the very last degree and minutes of Pisces, with Venus still close by. New Moon energy is generally one of new beginnings, and in the sign of Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, doubly so. Aries energy is potent, vital, exciting, and ready to make moves happen. There is an primal impulse, a jolt awake, something that says GO! Remember however, that Mercury and Venus are still retrograde and that it is very likely that whatever begins now will need adjustments. Challenge yourself to move slower than you’d prefer for best results. Allow the energy of the eclipse to play out before making any major life changes, although not everyone will have that opportunity. Aries energy is self-concerned and we can use this energy to check in with our confidence, desires, personal identity and physical body. What are you inspired to move toward? And what to leave behind? This energy can instigate drama, arguing, violence, as Aries rules anger. We are being asked to look at our relationship to this very important emotion, and all the ways in which we engage with conflict - or don't.
On March 30, Neptune will move into the sign of Aries until October 22, but then it will be in the sign of Aries for the next 14 years. This is going to amp up the Aries energy that is already very present via the eclipse. Neptune will help to encourage spiritualizing our identities and relationships with ourselves. It may have us trying on new concepts, practices, art forms, etc. until we can find something that resonates in an authentic way over the next decade and change.
On April 1, Venus retrograde conjuncts the North Node at 27º of Pisces. This can be a pivotal moment in the Venus retrograde story, aka our review of relationships, finances and values that has been ongoing since March 1. We are more prone to experiences that cause revelations about where we are at in these areas of our lives. What used to be a pleasurable experience may seem like a distant memory, and new clues of what lies ahead on our path can appear. Remember where you’ve been, but stay open to anything new and intriguing today. When the North Node is activated, so is fate.
