Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo, Blood Moon

March 13-14 (depending on your timezone), brings the full Moon and total lunar eclipse at 23º Virgo. This eclipse is opposing Saturn at 22º of Pisces and means business. This is a moment of completions, endings, and get real moments. We are being asked to starkly and soberly look at the reality of our lives, of the situations we are involved in and assess what needs to be cleared out. Things will end. For many of us, this time will involve themes of health and wellness, releasing perfectionism, hyper fixation on details that create anxiety, and all other Virgo-related matters. The point of this moment is to face reality and leave fantasy alone. The truth of our feelings, the truth of the status of a health condition, the truth of a mental fixation, etc. We won’t be able to pretend it isn’t happening. Uranus in Taurus at 24º can offer support to loosen our grip on old people, places, materials and patterns with a lovely trine to this eclipse and a sextile to Saturn. Unexpected opportunities are triggered this weekend. Don’t stay stuck on the past so tough that you miss them. Trust that letting go of what no longer belongs in your life is the move. We are being set up for new chapters. 

On March 15, Mercury stations retrograde at 9º of Aries. (Pay attention to what is happening now, as the upcoming solar eclipse on March 29 will also occur at this very degree.) This day initiates a roughly three week period of mental and communicative reflection. Mercury entered Aries on March 3 and entered shadow on March 1. We may be reconsidering decisions from around this time that were made too quickly or impulsively for one reason or another. If there is an issue that requires buying and selling, especially of vehicles or machinery, issues regarding contracts, especially around responsibilities of the parties involved, this would be a good time to triple check the fine print, and even take a beat before signing on the dotted line. Consider other options, get a second opinion, refrain from “just trying to get it over with.” Mercury will be retrograde until April 7 where it will station direct at 26º of Pisces. This may be a time period where we have better access to a wider perspective or clearer judgment. 

On March 17, the Sun conjuncts the North Node in Pisces at 27º. When the Sun meets the Nodes of Fate, we are all involved in some way with karmic choices and encounters in our own unique stories. These events may indeed allow us to interact with characters or circumstances that direct us toward something we desire, a step closer toward goals we’ve set in the past, or a more authentic way to express our true nature - consciously or unconsciously, it is Pisces after all. Pay attention to people you meet and to what you are called to express. The signs and symbols are very loud today

And those signs and symbols only get louder when on March 19 the Sun conjuncts Neptune in Pisces at 29º. This is a day filled with incredible inspiration, art, creativity, and an affinity for being in nature, especially by water. Listen to your dreams, the synchronicities hat flow throughout your day. Listen to the unseen cues from higher realms. A beautiful day to play, to pray, to rest. Avoid unhealthy escapism and addictions. Connect to a higher love. Follow your bliss. Careful not to drink too much, as Neptune rules alcohol and substances. Challenge yourself to drink too much water to prepare for the next. Tomorrow brings a very strong contrast with the Sun moving into Aries and we welcome the beginning of Spring. What a ride.
