Pluto Stations Direct 29º 38' Capricorn
Diddy do it? On October 11, Pluto stations direct at 29º 38’ of Capricorn, the very last time this will happen in our lifetime. Since 2008, Pluto in Capricorn has been digging up the dirt on all corrupt systems of power, from people to institutions. Wherever Pluto is transiting in our personal and collective lives, we are looking at the complete destruction of that area of life as we know it so they can be rebuilt anew. This is an intense culmination point and Pluto will move through this last degree of Capricorn until it reaches Aquarius, where it will stay for the next 20 years, on November 19. This transit is not light nor easy. As we carry on with our daily lives, the dystopian backdrop of the fall of old societal structures will continue its last desperate attempts to hold onto power from within the pressure cooker of Pluto at the last degree of Capricorn.
On October 13, Mercury the planet of communication enters the sign of Scorpio until November 2. This placement generally has us more curious, investigative and potentially secretive when it comes to whats on our minds. This is a great time for research and digging deep for answers. Let yourself be led by arguably the strongest intuition in the zodiac, Mercury in Scorpio will in fact find the dirt. Also, don’t get your feelings hurt when you find out more than you wanted to know.
Also on October 13-14, the Sun at 21º of Libra makes an opposition to Chiron at 21º of Aries while both planets receive a confrontational square form Mars at 21º of Cancer. This is a challenging couple of days where we are likely to be met with some sort of conflict. Mars in Cancer is motivated to protect and defend our feelings, our sense of safety, and the Sun opposing Chiron suggests this dilemma is brought to us through another person/a significant relationship and points to something within that needs to be healed. How can we honor and assert our needs confidently while still having compassion and empathy for the other?
October 13-14 brings some support to the Sun’s part in this conflict with the Sun forming a trine to Jupiter retrograde in Gemini at 21º. It might be a tricky moment, but we are encouraged to have the discussion, to bring up the issue and it may be easier than usual to see all sides of a matter if we remain open to it. With Jupiter still holding down a sextile to Chiron, there is healing available for everyone when we have the courage engage in these dialogues assert our needs with tact and compassion.
October 14-15 shows Venus in Scorpio opposing Uranus retrograde at 26º Taurus and trines Neptune retrograde at 27º Pisces. Venus in Scorpio is interested in depth and realism, and per the discussions we are engaging in we may find some unexpected (Uranus) information and or events transpire as a result. This is an interesting moment where we may be caught off guard. Perhaps we had been so focused on asserting something important to us with another, but that may spark an unexpected invitation to try something new altogether. We may need to take a beat, imagining new ways our relationships and desires may play out. What is it really that we desire?
