Welcome Sagittarius Season, Can We Have a Good Time Now? 

On November 21, the Sun enters Sagittarius until December 21. Sagittarius, a fire sign represented by the symbol of the archer, is a season for exploration and higher learning. This season, we can be met with some much needed optimism, social experimentation, and debates that confront us with facing our differences in moral, religious, spiritual, or philosophical associations. As the Sun freshly enters this new sign, it is still separating from its opposition with Uranus retrograde in Taurus at 29º that was exact earlier today. As a result, the season may have a shocking or surprising start. We are wired for freedom and we don’t want strings attached. We are ready to trail-blaze with a quickness and right NOW - or so we think. Careful booking spontaneous air tickets or impulsive and defiant decision making. Mercury, the planet governing travel, information, and communication is still retrograde, dishing out technology glitches and lack of clarity in messaging. Once Mercury stations direct on November 29, we can start to feel more secure in advancing via adventure time. Try to open your mind and see the broad strokes. Invite new information, consider trying beliefs that are not your own on for size. Take care not to become preachy to a crowd that didn’t ask. 

On November 23, the Sun in Sagittarius sextiles Pluto in Aquarius at 1º. Today we can have the ability and desire to speak to others with deeper meaning. Consider the deeper implications behind our social interactions and happenings in our communities, especially concerning hidden or taboo topics. Community oriented discussions that bring the darkness to the light. On a personal level, Sun sextile Pluto can help with deeper self expression. The integration of deeper layers of self identity. It can ignite a sense of purpose over a cause we feel personally connected to and even magnetize support. 

On November 26, Venus in Scorpio trines Jupiter retrograde in Cancer at 24º. We love when the two benefics mingle - especially in water signs. This is a lush day, a chance for a bit of ease among outer chaos. Flow within emotional bonds that deepen or strengthen. Water trines are helpful for channeling feelings, creativity, sensuality, psychic abilities, and connection with the unseen realms. Saturn retrograde in Pisces at 25º is still technically contributing to the grand water trine, bringing stability and grounding to what might otherwise be gluttony and escapism. The Moon in Aquarius might help us try something new in a social context with a healthy sense of detachment. If there is a safe outlet for ease and pleasure today, take it. You are likely to learn something about where you are in matters of the heart, finances, or relationships. 

On November 27, Saturn stations direct in Pisces at 25º. This station continues to activate the water grand trine, involving a close trine to Jupiter retrograde in Cancer at 24º and an exact trine to Venus in Scorpio at 25º. Saturn is pulling focus in this threesome, and our responsibilities are much louder today. Matters of integrity are in question. This is the last time Saturn will station direct in Pisces before it moves into Aries on February 13, 2026. This begins the last chapter of this very long transit that began March 7, 2023. Think back through this time period. We’ve grown up. We’ve matured. The lessons around fantasy vs. realism, escapism and addiction, disassociation and boundaries, and maintaining a sense of integrity and balance in an ever-changing landscape -  they are coming home to roost. Saturn today reminds us that this is the last time he will be asking. Time to wrap up contracts, relationships, old patterns, and any loose ends that no longer align, especially in regards to our personal spiritual journeys. Consequences or rewards?
