Full Moon in Scorpio, A Fixed Intensity, Deep Completions
On May 10, Mercury enters Taurus until May 25. This brings a helpful slow down to the mental plane. Mercury in Taurus aids us in taking the time to think things through carefully before making decisions. This energy does not enjoy being rushed to arrive at conclusions. This energy favors practical thinking, logical problem solving, always looking for the sure-bet, tried and true solution. Here’s the catch. We need to be weary of a stubborn demeanor, mental patterns that remain too fixed to see available yet perhaps unconventional options. Slow down but stay open. This energy is persistent and quality results arrive if we can remain both patient!yet flexible. We also could be thinking a lot about our money, what money we are spending, what we wish to be spending on, investing in, etc. Resources, materials, even luxury items are on our minds, but are they practical? What do we really value? That’s where we should actually be spending our dollars.
On May 12, the Full Moon in Scorpio at 22°arrives. The full Moon will oppose Uranus in Taurus At 26° just a few hours later, involving some intense wild card energy in this lunation. Full Moons deal with completion, culmination, and things that have been hidden coming to light. In Scorpio this is doubly so, as it is the zodiac sign that deals with secrets, the taboo and occult, and the realms of the shadows. It is generally under a Scorpio Moon that we have to face some hard truths, feel very deep feelings, and deal with less palatable topics. This energy does not play nice or neat. We must stare something in the face, and that something may be someone due to this next transit.
Also on May 12, just hours after the Full Moon, Mercury in Taurus squares Pluto in Aquarius at 3°. More fixed energy. More intensity. Mercury and Pluto may be forcing some conversations to be had that are challenging to say the least. Asteroid Juno is nearby the full Moon in Scorpio suggesting that these conversations will have to do with partners, relationships, and our contractual commitments. Uranus’ involvement will bring unexpected terms, adjustments, and rogue elements or options into play. Despite what may feel incredibly challenging at this time, the energy is in fact propelling us forward toward our most honest heart’s desires and highest excitement. We cannot continue to walk that path without acknowledging what has changed, what has ended, and what we no longer value ad a priority. It may hurt feelings, but in true Scorpio fashion the direct and honest truth is also the most loving move. Tell it straight, don’t sugar coat it, but wield the sword of truth with integrity and care not to cut others down unnecessarily. It’s a yes or no. Are you in or out?
