Listen to the Whispers, Week Before Eclipses Begin
On March 7, the Sun in Pisces trines Mars in Cancer at 17º. Mars is still moving slowly after stationing direct back on February 23, and has been camping on this 17º point since February 11. But the Sun trine Mars is a positive and long awaited wind in our sails for moving forward on something we are excited about. Perhaps this is in the domain of emotions, spiritual work, or inner life as this aspect occurs between two water signs. Whatever it is that we are motivated to move on, today we can welcome some noticeable progress.
On March 11, Mercury in Aries will conjunct Venus retrograde at 8º. Pay attention to information today in matters of money and relationship. Next week on March 15, Mercury will begin its own retrograde over the same part of the sky that Venus is currently working through. These two planets are working in tandem this season to review and recognize outdated relationships and mental patterning. As Mercury and Venus retrograde meet up in Aries we are more likely to be expressive and willing to chat, possibly argue. The Aries energy can at worst lean impulsive, hasty and selfish or at best, towards confidently asserting one’s needs and desires with regard to others’ needs around them. We may be realizing something important today about our needs in a relationship - all relationships, not just the romantic kind, but most of all, Aries energy will have us rewriting energies in our relationships with ourselves. A spark of insight can hit today on what sacrifices we are making, what actions we are taking that may be outdated or non-reciprocal and need to be reworked. What is not working? What needs re-evaluation? Discussions can begin today over matters that have been apparent since Venus entered shadow back on January 28, and we will be revisiting and revising the topics at hand until Venus stations direct on April 12.
On March 12, the Sun will meet Saturn at 22º of Pisces. Saturn always brings us to a check-in or call-out of some kind that means business. We can be recognized for the steady and reliable work we have put in towards a goal, or be shown very clearly where we need to continue to strive or more deeply commit. If we are lucky to have free time or spare energy, this is a day that can have a lot of support for Pisces matters such as creativity, imagination, visioning, receiving a clear hit on a matter, and especially for letting go and surrender. It may be a time where rest is important and that doing so allows some serious reflection on all that you have accomplished. What have you accomplished thus far that required immense discipline? What still needs to be done? What are you really serious about? What work are you avoiding? Are you as committed as you say?
Just a heads up here that we are approaching eclipses that begin next week with a Lunar Eclipse on March 14. The veil is thinning. Stay flexible to fluctuation in plans. Stay open to the whispers of the unseen realms, your intuition. Karmic endings and beginnings are underway.
