New Moon in Pisces 28º

Heads up! On March 13, Mars conjuncts the North Node in Pisces at 8º suggesting fated action. There is a sense of drive, activity, and assertion that moves our individual and collective plot lines forward - for better or worse. In Pisces, developments today spur first from intuitive hits, dreams, and out of the blue feelings that create notable momentum. In the element of water, these developments can be spiritual and emotional in nature. We are more apt to pursue something that feels meaningful, and are influenced to act beyond reason and logic alone. What is pulling at you like a magnet? What impulse are you moved to act on? You can try to rationalize or avoid, but the presence of the North Node suggests destiny is at play. Stay present and observant of fluctuating energies to make the best move. 

Did you really need to say that? On March 15, Mercury retrograde conjuncts Mars in Pisces at 10º. Watch impulsive speech, overstating, or even forceful words. We may share information that we should have kept private, or someone shares information that we didn’t need to know. Review past action patterns. Revise a plan. Avoid hasty decision making, jumping to conclusions, or assuming we have all the information at this time. It’s a great day for internal reflections, actively reviewing recent developments, thoughts, hits, downloads, dreams, and other forms of intel. Mercury is joining Mars just after it’s conjunction with the North Node. This is a great day to reflect on that recent development, but not a great day to make a final decision. 

On March 17, Mercury retrograde conjuncts the North Node in Pisces at 8º. As the planet of communication meets the destiny point, important information is revealed. This can amplify the classic Mercury retrograde trope of receiving messages from people of the past, but in the sign of Pisces, these messages are likely to prompt endings, closures, and completions. The Moon is also moving through Pisces at this time, and will cross over this Mercury/North Node conjunction right at the end of its own 28 lunar day cycle. This amplifies the theme of endings, and as the Moon rules feelings, we will need to face feeling our feelings around those endings. If what is meant to end doesn’t happen today, the intuitive knowing and informative details around its true end point will be pretty loud. 

On March 18, we have a very active sky. The new Moon hits in Pisces at 28º, Venus in Aries squares Jupiter in Cancer at 15º, and the Sun/Moon Pisces conjunction sextiles Uranus in Taurus at 28º. There are a lot of helpful energies in this line up. The new Moon is a time to plant seeds, and with long awaited endings finally reaching their grand finale, we are poised to dream new dreams. Venus/Jupiter adds joy and pleasure to the mix, but in a square, we need to be careful of excess, gluttony, hedonism and overdoing it. Sun/Moon/Uranus aids us in opening the mind and sense of self-expression. This signature impresses innovation and experimentalism upon the next 28 days. We are open to life in a way that is new.
