Mercury Enters Virgo 

On August 28, Uranus in Gemini sextiles Neptune retrograde in Aries at 1°. This transit is ongoing because the planets have been traveling in this formation for many weeks, months even, and will continue to do so. However, today this aspect is exact. This is a supportive aspect in the name of freethinking, imagination, dreaming a new dream, and staying open to unexpected ideas that create opportunities. What kind of downloads are you receiving today? 

On August 31, Mercury in Leo trines Chiron in Aries at 26°. The planet of communication is sending positive vibes to the planet of our deepest wounds/deepest healing. This is a really good day to dig into any part of our personal healing journeys. A potent day to utilize journaling, words, writing, conversations in the name of healing are likely to bring rewards. In fire signs, we are supported to take action in these areas, as we may even have more courage to do so than usual. What needs to be said? What has been tough to look at? Today is a great day to try again. 

On September 1, Saturn retrograde re-enters Pisces at 29°. This is the final lap of Saturn in Pisces for another 29.5 years. From now until February 12 of 2026, we will be closing out major chapters that are complete. Things that have been long-standing in our lives, especially around themes of escapism, addiction, and victim consciousness will finally close. Saturn’s job is to mature us through challenging experiences, make us face our responsibilities, and ensure that we are fit to continue on the path of life with all that we have learned from our trials. Saturn first began its transit through Pisces on March 7, 2023. Reflect back on how life has made you face endings and completions since that time. How has your ability to surrender been challenged? Have you improved at letting go? At having faith? Here goes the last of that challenge. 

On September 2, Mercury enters Virgo until September 18. Mercury is strong in the sign of Virgo, the sign of its rulership. Mercury is extremely detail oriented in this sign, yet able to mutate and remain malleable as needed. This is especially true in matters of speech, words, writing, conversation, and the exchange of ideas. Mercury in Virgo keeps receipts and advises that you do the same. With this transit, we want to remember ways that we can effectively and constructively slow down the mind, to remember that we cannot solve every problem that exists by ourselves, and that we are meant to be of service to others, but not at the expense of our mental and physical health. Beware of self criticism and perfectionism. How are you speaking to yourself? Don’t get lost in the detail marathon and forget about the big picture. Ground the overactive mind through slower paced physical activities. Our minds are sharp now, but take periodical rest to avoid burn out.
