Mercury Sextile Mars, A Lot to Talk About
On August 14, Mercury in Leo sextiles Mars in Libra at 4º. This puts matters of communication in a productive and favorable light. We have things on our mind, and those things will want to be communicated, as Mercury and Mars are both still in aspect to Pluto in Aquarius. There is a deeper desire beneath our words for transformation. Pay attention to words, and what might be beneath what is being said. This continues with prominence throughout the next few days.
On August 16, Mercury in Leo sextiles Mars again in Libra at 6º. There is a lot of power in communications this week. Mercury in Leo recently stationed direct after three weeks of its retrograde motion. During that time, we have been forced to review topics around our desires, what is really driving them, matters of ego, self vs. other, and all matters of creativity and self-expression. After a long review, we may now finally take steps in communicating our findings with others, especially those we are in one-on-one relationships with. From business partnerships to romantic alignments, we have a more informed stance on the direction we’d like to take moving forward and are motivated to get after it. These are the elements of fire and air coming together, which often incites action and thought provoking exchanges.
On August 19, the Sun in Leo trines Chiron in Aries at 27º. On the same day, the Moon in Cancer meets up with Jupiter and Venus. This is a beautiful day for healing activities. We can feel more confident in prioritizing self-care and in turn, we are rewarded with a boost in confidence or vitality. The Moon moving through Cancer will also make a trine to the North Node in Pisces at 18º. What feels good? What feels healing? Pay attention to the emotional field today, there lies some important information about the way forward. When we honor the unseen realms today, we can take aligned action that feels secure.
