Taurus Season Begins, Forward Fated Motion 

On April 18, Mars moves into Leo and forms a trine with Neptune in Aries at 0º. Remember the treacherous journey Mars has been through since it first entered Leo back on November 3, 2024? How it had to retrograde for months through the emotionally tender sign of Cancer? Well all of that is finally over. Mars steps into Leo with pride and great relief to be back on the field and off the bench. This is forward momentum in the direction of our heart’s passions, creative projects, leisure activities, sport, and social pleasures. In a trine to Neptune fresh in the sign of Aries, Mars is encouraged to engage his spiritual lessons of the months prior and creatively apply all that has been learned to his endeavors. Fire trines are activating. Enthusiasm and self expression. Playtime. 

Welcome Taurus season! On April 19, the Sun moves into Taurus, pulling more focus on stability and self-sufficiency. Aries season initiated, and now its time to hold our horses for a minute and put all the starter packs on the table. What looks useful? What is most exciting? What might we like to put away and try another time? What materials are needed for the task? Taurus slows down the pace and encourages grounded decision making on all of our new and most recent endeavors. Quality control. This is very helpful energy for an action packed and fast paced astrological week. 

On April 20, Venus in Pisces sextiles Uranus in Taurus at 25º. This transit is lovely for unexpected surprises that tend to go well in matters of romance, creativity, and even finance, depending how this aspect hits your own personal chart. Venus in Pisces is now direct after a long retrograde journey since March 1, and is better equip to follow her heart. The sextile aspect encourages that we do just that to initiate circumstances in our favor. This is trying new styles and approaches that are unconventional or out of our comfort zones, saying yes to an outing or gathering you usually wouldn’t attend. Don’t actively choose something you dislike. Instead, follow your highest excitement and be open to where it may lead you. Avoid addictive behaviors and escapism for best results. This is found money, a new friend, an unlikely client, a brilliant creative idea that hits out of the blue, etc. Let yourself flow and be surprised. 

On April 20, Mercury in Aries sextiles Pluto in Aquarius at 3º. Coupled with the previous transit above makes 4/20 a beautiful day for socializing, gatherings, seeing communications go smoothly even if they are over intense topics. Overall, we are well starred for exciting innovation and intellectual exchanges! 

On April 21, Saturn conjuncts the North Node in Pisces at 26º, followed by Venus on April 23. Venus and Saturn are essentially conjunct this whole week, but we can feel the seriousness and/or intensity of this transit the most during these few days as they each meet the Nodes of Fate. Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, the sign of endings, closures and completions. Major karmic and soul-level completions have been underway in regards to the journeys of both Saturn and Venus, and as they each meet the North Node we are bound to meet some of those conclusions. Things that have been wrapping up may finally close now especially in the themes and areas of life ruled by Venus and Saturn. The ending of old relationships and relationship patterns, the closing of a karmic connection, outdated relationship with money, materials, and finances, old self worth and self respect value systems, matters of integrity, commitment etc. Consequences and results. Its as if we are receiving our karmic exam scores. Lesson complete. How’d you do? Doesn’t matter. Venus moves into Aries April 30 and until then we can expect the last grieving, review, and remembering of all that we have been through all the while preparing excitedly for new energies to come.
